SERVICES
Basic Lawn Maintenance (Residential,
Re-occurring)
Includes mowing, weed-eating, and blowing off sidewalks and driveways. This service can be provided weekly or bi-weekly, March through December. For all properties under 2 acres, a first service is $40. After that, we will provide you a quote to consider going forward. For properties over 2 acres, please contact us for more details. We will tailor our services to best fit your preferences and needs!
Basic Lawn Maintenance (Residential, One-time service)
Includes all elements of the re-occurring package but for clients only requiring services here or there. Great for someone who likes to mow but needs assistance while on vacation! Requires at least one week notice. Price varies based on property size, starts at $50.00.
Spring and Fall Pristine Package
A one-time whole yard core aeration and over-seeding to improve the health and appearance of your lawn. Both are recommended for best results, but services can be performed individually in the spring and/or fall. Price varies based on property size, starts at $300.00.
Commercial Properties/Churches
We provide full service building and grounds service to businesses, churches and cemeteries handling everything from weekly mowing, weed control, pruning, aeration and more to meet your specific needs. We are able to work under a yearly contract or with more flexibility. We are dedicated to providing a competitive bid in a timely manner after coming to see your property.
Add-on Options
Additional Isolated Chemical Weed Elimination
When weed-eating/minimal spraying included in the basic package isn’t cutting it. (Ex: driveways, parking spaces, etc) With your premission, we will complete this on an as needed basis during peak season. Price varies based on property size, $15.00 minimum.
Edging
For cleaner lines and no chemical weed elimination. This can be completed upon request in conjunction with the basic lawn maintinance package. Price varies based on property size, $15.00 minimum.
Mulch/Pine Needles
Just tell us when and where and we will bring the materials and do the hard work for you! We are happy to work with you to create a landscape you love. Mulch or pine needles distrubution can be completed in conjunction with other services, include landscaping fabric and/or pavers. Price varies based on property size, but starts at $200.00, plus materials.
Spring/Fall Clean-up
Leaves, sticks, overgrown scrubs and fences got you down? We can give your yard a refresh going into the new season. Price varies based on property size, but starts at $100.00.
Note on Pricing
Every property is different and requires a different amount of attention and time. Please contact us directly for more details on pricing. We accept electronic payments (Venmo, Paypal or card), check or cash. For commercial clients, direct deposit can be set up. For re-occuring clients, an invoice will be sent via email at the end of each month requesting payment or ad hoc for one-time services. We request that you complete the payment in your preferred method within 2 weeks of receiving of the invoice date.
ABOUT OUR BUSINESS
Our Story
Hometown Building & Grounds is owned and operated by myself, Andrew and my wife, Elizabeth. We were both born and raised in western Stanly County and share a passion for this community that we call home. With years of lawn care and handy-man experience, I have had the privilege of building relationships with folks across the county that we now call friends. Though my passions span a wide range of things, at the top of the list is my love for our rural community and I consider it a privilege to maintain and enhance the land we have been given the responsibility to steward. My grandpa and great-grandpa once owned a business called Hometown, Inc, and we are honored to carry on their legacy of serving this community by continuing that name with Hometown Building & Grounds.
